Book Review 2-7 The Kidnappers

The hero of this story is Kipper. Kipper has a magic key. He always play with magic key. The day, the key didn't grow. After sleeping, they key grew up. The key took him to Bear's picnic with his toys. He can go to another country and enjoy Bear's picnic. There are a lot of bears. They gather one place from every country. They hold a picnic one a year. Famous bear come and do speech. They have lunch and they looks very happy.

Afternoon, Kipper saw a unbelievable thing that the famous bears are kidnapped from another 3 bears. He and his toys helped their escape from kidnapper. He satisfied with his action. In the morning, he told the story to his brother and sister but they didn't believe him.

This book is too short to read for me but the pictures are very cute and readable. I want to magic key and want to go another world. He wants his brother and sister to believe him but they say that it is dream! I always confuse real or dream. I want to sleep long time.

Japanese breakfast

In Kumamoto, we eat a traditional breakfast everyday. Japanese traditional breakfasts foods are rice, miso soup, rolled eggs and grilled fish. When we eat rice, we also eat pickles with it. Japanese have also eaten miso soup since the Muromachi period. At that time, miso soup was country food so farmers ate it, and it became popular. Now, miso soup is necessary for a Japanese traditional breakfast. We can cook it easily and we can make a lot at once. When the warring States Period, Japanese ate miso soup.

Rolled egg is also a famous dish. Each home has their own taste. When we make it, we use a frying pan which is shaped in a rectangle. Most people put salt or pepper into it. However, sushi or tea-ceremony egg rolls are used sugar. Also, in the Kanto area, they eat sweet rolled eggs. In the Kansai area, they eat dashimaki which uses soup stock. There are also spinach, carrot, eel rolled eggs and so on.

We also eat rice balls shaped as a triangle. We put salt on them and put kelp or pickled ume into them. Pickled ume is one of the Japanese traditional foods. The effect of pickled ume are 3 things. 1 Acidity of citric acid helps secrete the saliva and help assimilation. When we eat food, we use chopsticks but when we eat rice balls, we use our hand. 2 It helps recover fatigue, and it is medicinal food so when we have ill, we eat okayu with it. 3 It has antibacterial so we put it onigiri or lunch box with rice.

My reserch about Break fast

I studied about New Zealand breakfast. Most kiwis eat cereals. There are a lot of kinds of cereals at a grocery store. A big one has about 90 kinds of cereals. The popular kinds of cereals are The Crispy Golden cereal which is not sweet but has a strong apple and cinnamon taste and Muesli cereal which has a lot of dry fruits. Including apricot, raisins, pineapple and so on. It is low calorie.

When they eat cereal, they use a spoon and put milk on it. In NZ, there were many kinds of milk. My host family uses 2 kinds of milk. One is lite. The other is trim. The difference of these is on the fat contents. Trim milk was a smaller percentage of fat than lite milk. The lite milk has 1.5 g and the trim milk has 0.1 g.

Oatmeal is type of soft thick white food made by boiling OATS in milk or water. When they eat oatmeal, they put sugar and milk onto it.
Sometimes, they eat yoghurt and fruits with cereal. They also eat bread with jam or vegemite. Taste of Vegemite is salty miso. At breakfast, they also eat pancakes too. They use eggs, flour, and milk to make them. They don’t put preservatives like bicarbonate in so they make thin hot cake. It is like French crepe. When they eat it, they put jam or cream, sugar, syrup on it.

Finally, most kiwi have never eaten rice in the morning. However, there are many kinds of rice in New Zealand. One kind is long grain rice, the length of it is about 6 mm long. The way to boil is to put in the proportion of 1 to 1.5. You turn down the heat and wait 5 minutes. An other is medium grain rice. The length of it is 5 mm long. It is good rice to make paella.

Lost my way!?

August 5th

I forgot to wrtite about this day. I went to Sky Tower. It is not important thing for me. The day I went to Subway with my friends. Subway is fast food shop. Kumamoto doesn't have it so I want to eat in Kumamoto! My lunch is not important too.

The day, I went back home at first time. I have perfect confidence to go back home alone easily because I have to walk straight! It is easy for me. I walked to home. While walking, I took many pictures. However, after 30 minutes, I couldn't go back home! I didn't have a phone and card. I was sad and I worried so I went back to school.

I found the library near school. I went there and asked a woman who works there. I told her that I lost my way and I don't have any idea to go home. She was very kind and she called my host mother. She relieved me so I begun to cry. She worried about me. She took me the road and told me that my mother would came here but if she wouldn't come, please come back to the library. However, the library is closed at 5. If the time past 5, I would in here and please knocked door. She helped me and very very kind!! I was very happy.

After that my host mother came and pick me up. I was very happy!!! I talked with her while driving. My house was close to the place where I went back to school. The 3 days, my mother drive to school so I didn't have idea the time to take to go to school from home. When I went back home, my host children worried about me. I could sleep well the night.

Next day, I went to the library and said thank you to her who helped me yesterday. I had good experience in NZ.

Animals 2

I hate these animals.

-small monkeies
I hate small monkeies. When I was a littele girl, I went to the zoo with my family. I was very happy to go there. I enjoy watching bears, peacocks and so on. I went to the monkeies area. The area of risuzaru can enter inside the cage. I went into the cage. I didn't know yet that it was dangerous for me!!!!! When I went there, I put on the hairband. I like the hairband. However, one of the monkey came and get and run away!!! I didn't have time to stop. I was very sad. I don't like it.

-Big dog
I like most dogs but I don't like big dog which is taller than me. My cousin who is older than me has a big dog. The name is Silver. The kind of dogs is wolf dog. When I had dinner with cousin, Silver gazed me and barked. I scared so I don't like him.

-doves
Doves are symbol of peace in Japan. However, they begin not to afraid human. When I ride the bycicle and come close to them, they didn't fly away and walk. It is dangerous for us. I have to avoid them and I don't have much space to go. I don't like them.

Book Review 2-6 Crunchy Christmas

Annie's dog, Fang, looks for his Christmas card from his mother. Nate and his dog don't like Fang because he is very big and scary. The day, Nate begun to look for his card. Every Christmas, Fang's mother sent letters. It always says that you have to eat born well. Annie always read the letter. However, Christmas came but his card is nothing. First, Nate looked for Annie's post. She told him that Fang is scary dog so postman always run away soon. Annie have lots of letters. These letter from shops are too much. They can't find. Nate think, think and think. He noticed and he dig the hole and find!! His mother always said that you eat born. This year, she sent real born with card. When Fang sniff at born, he dig and bury. He solved the problem today too. Fang were happy so he press himself against Nate. It is not nice for him.

I think Nate is clever and he loves pancake and mom because when he goes out home, he writes a letter to mother. It says that I have to solve the problems so I will be back soon. I want to have a cute brother like him.

Job

I look for new job. I'm an assistant of KGU but I can't earn much money to play with friends, pay money for club and so on. I want to buy new clothes. However, I don't have much money now. I want to work. I don't want to work restaurant like Joyfull. One of my friends works there, she is too busy day. I don't want to work weekend because I want to do volunteer. I like doing volunteer with my friend. It is best things in my life. I want to keep this. I want to talk with elderly. I find the good job for me. It is a receptions of English school. I will try to take a test. I want to get new job!
