Book Review 2-14 The Billy Goats Gruff

There is 3 goats in this forest. Their name is Gruff. They are very nice brothers. The youngest goat is Beanie. The middle goat is Berrie. The oldest goat is Biffer. In winter, there is less food in their home. Then, Biffer decided moving their house to eat a lot of food. They are training many days to climb to the mountain. At last, brothers can climb to the mountain. They entered the forest. When they saw green monster, Beanie and Berrie run away. Biffer knows that the monster is a rabbit. Beanie reached the bridge. If he can walk bridge, he can eat flesh food. When he walk there, troll appeared and tried to eat him. He told him that the goats which is bigger than him will come soon. He can get in. After that Berrie came and he also told him that the goat which is bigger than him will come soon. Finally, Biffer reached the bridge. Troll tried to eat him but he attacked him. Troll drown in the river. All of the animal can walk bridge. Biffer is strong goat in the world.

There are 3 stories in this book. I will tell you first story. There is a Shiverham Hall. The hotel is for ghosts. Many guests came to the hotel. Mr. Quiver is very happy. The serves of hotel is so nice. He is proud of his job. One day, two men came into his hotel. They are not ghost. One of them is fat man. He is Mr. Slate. He wants to build the new hotel here. However, another man told him the hotel have many ghosts but Slate doesn't care about it. The night, he stayed the hotel to prove that there is no ghosts at this hotel.

The night, Mr. Quiver told the fact to staff so they tried to be frighten him. However, many ghosts tried, he doesn't care about it. They confused. The next day, he told another man to built a new hotel. However, a ghost came. The ghost is his aunt. He doesn't like his aunt. He doesn't be take care of his aunt and he escaped the hotel. Mr. Quiver told her that she can stay as long as she like.

Father told him that his daughter could spin straw into gold. Of course she can't but the King believed the fact. He invited her to his castle next day. She really wants to be a Queen. The next day, she went to the old castle. They went to the tiny room, stuffed with straw. He tested her ability. He told her that if she can't do spin straw into gold, she will die. The night, she cried because she will die. The next moment, one little man who riding on spoon came to her room. He told her that he can do it. She really pleased. However, he also told her that if he can do it for her, she will give him something. She gave him her necklace. The next day came. The King delight and he took another room and he has her do that again. The night, she also cried and a little man came. The day, she gave ring to him. The next day King took her another big room to spin straw into gold. The night she cried because he has nothing to give something to a little old man. He told her, if she has first children, he wants to him or her. She didn't want to do that but she promised because she thought that he will forget about this in the future. The next day, King prease and they married.

After that, she has very good time with her husband and gave birth a child. She was very happy. One day, a cold day, the old little man came to her house. He told her to hand the boy to him. She doesn't want to that so he gave her a chance. If she can know his name , she doesn't hand her child to him. He gave her 3days. First day, she told a lot of name for him what she knew. 2nd day she went to village and ask people's name. However, she couldn't find true answer. 3rd day night, she felt bad. At the dinner, her husband told a story. The day, he went to the forest and found a little man. He sung a song. His name is Rumpelstiltskin. She could know his name! The night, he came to her house. She told his name so he went away from her house. She was very happy.

Book Review 2-11 Snake Camp

The hero of this book is Stevie. He went to camp to learn about Viper which is new software. However, the camper have to go to forest. He doesn't like in wood because he hates bugs and poison ivy and snakes. He wondered that why he has to go to forest to study software.

Jordan who sat down next to Stevie talked to him about camp. He loves this camp and he really wants to get snakes. Stevie found the incredible fact that Viper has two means. One is name of new software program. The other is type of snake. He went to snake camp.

They arrived the forest. Tim who is instructor of snake camp told them about snake and he wanted them to get own snake. Stevie didn't want to that so he found good idea. He went back to the bus and he brought a shoe box. After that, children shown off their nice snake to each other. Next turn is Stevie. He said that I have rare snake so you can only see bad weather. Of course it is not true. Jordan wanted to see it and he asked a lot to him.

The night, Stevie hits good idea to make him believe. He went to kitchen and get green slime. He spread the slime to Jordan's bed. The next day, he yelled. Stevie told him that his rare snake went to your bed and it spread. Children scared of it but Jordan really wanted to see it.

After that, children went to room to eat breakfast except Stevie. He went to bed again. He didn't want to get up. However, he found the snake!! The snake is green and has cute eyes. He looked the snake. He likes the snake. He could touch it. After that, he took care of it. He talked with it. He decide the name of snake. It is Emerald. She laid 3 eggs. They became good friends.

Last day of camp came. Children's parents came to camp. Stevie's parents surprised at snake camp. They apologized his son. However, he was satisfied with his growth. Every children has to get back own snake which had got in wood during the camp. However, Tim told him that he found it at his room so he would get it back own home. He was very happy.

The book has 3 stories of Santa. I like Santa very much, I have been believed him for a long time. The first story is about toys. He works with a lot of tiny elves at his home of Santa's toy factory. There are many elves and they work hardly. Dennis opened letter, Babs examine the children who sent a letter to Santa. He know that children's behavior. Marco read letter, Betch write a list of Chiristmas presents. Peddy and Pig made toys. Alfie is always sleep while working. The night, he touched toymaker. It is not good action for him to touch that machine but he was boring and he wanted to play with it. He entered the toymaker and he didn't get out of there. The next day, The toymaker worked but it made a doll of Alfie. All of the toy are Alfie. It is not good but children ware very happy. Doll of Alfie become very famous doll next year. All of these stories made my heart worm.

Ginger man looked happy because he wants to play and sing.
While he running away people and cows looked and want to eat him. They called gingerbread man that please stop and I want to eat you! Of course he didn't stop.
many people run and try to catch up him. He reached river. A fox came and he looked very kind. The gingerbread man believed him and ride his tale. Tale became wet so he ride back. The back became wet so he ride nose. The fox ate gingerbread man. I was very sad and the fox is clavier.

I read this book last week. The title is interesting because night rhyme with knight. The hero of this story is good knight. He is watching and guarding the castle. One night, he is standing the top of the castle and heard the voice. The voice is heard from forest. He went to the forest. There is small cave. The three little dragons live there. One small dragon is crying. He want the knight to bring water. The knight is kind so he bring water. He went back to the castle. After that he heard something and went to the cave again. A middle cute dragon is crying. She wants the knight to read a book. He is good Knight, he read a book and went back to the castle. After that he heard voice again. A big dragon wants the knight to sing a song.

Finally, the knight went to the cave again. The three dragons crying. He guess that they want him to read another book, bring water and sing another song. However, it is different. They want him to kiss. The knight is good knight, he said them good night.

The hero of this story is Kipper. Kipper has a magic key. He always play with magic key. The day, the key didn't grow. After sleeping, they key grew up. The key took him to Bear's picnic with his toys. He can go to another country and enjoy Bear's picnic. There are a lot of bears. They gather one place from every country. They hold a picnic one a year. Famous bear come and do speech. They have lunch and they looks very happy.

Afternoon, Kipper saw a unbelievable thing that the famous bears are kidnapped from another 3 bears. He and his toys helped their escape from kidnapper. He satisfied with his action. In the morning, he told the story to his brother and sister but they didn't believe him.

This book is too short to read for me but the pictures are very cute and readable. I want to magic key and want to go another world. He wants his brother and sister to believe him but they say that it is dream! I always confuse real or dream. I want to sleep long time.

Annie's dog, Fang, looks for his Christmas card from his mother. Nate and his dog don't like Fang because he is very big and scary. The day, Nate begun to look for his card. Every Christmas, Fang's mother sent letters. It always says that you have to eat born well. Annie always read the letter. However, Christmas came but his card is nothing. First, Nate looked for Annie's post. She told him that Fang is scary dog so postman always run away soon. Annie have lots of letters. These letter from shops are too much. They can't find. Nate think, think and think. He noticed and he dig the hole and find!! His mother always said that you eat born. This year, she sent real born with card. When Fang sniff at born, he dig and bury. He solved the problem today too. Fang were happy so he press himself against Nate. It is not nice for him.

I think Nate is clever and he loves pancake and mom because when he goes out home, he writes a letter to mother. It says that I have to solve the problems so I will be back soon. I want to have a cute brother like him.

I like this book. I want to have the key. I want to go to another world because this month is very very busy. I didn't have much time to play with my friends. I want to go somewhere to refresh!

He tried not to be stolen. He took on the train in the morning with Sludge and Hoot. Hoot is in the cage which is covered with cloth because she wants to sleep in the dark cage. Nate cared and examine the suspect. He found the suspect. He is musician. When Nate asked him, do you like Hoot? He said that he likes it. However, he hate owl and he wrote a letter. He is a musician. He is good at thinking rhyme. The letter said that happy day and flies away. It is rhyme! Olivia was happy and she bought some pancake and born for them.

I read this book. This book is short but it is cute story. The hero and heroine are little boys and girls. One of them has a key which can open a door. The door is like Doraemon's dokodemo door, I think. One day, they wondered that where the rainbow starts and ends. I don't know too. The answer is 5 people have a machine and they can make the rainbow. The people can make it. One day, one of them who is learning making rainbow now drove the car. The weather begin to rain and sunny. He has to make rainbow but he can't. He confused and the boys and girls came and helped him. They helped him to make a rainbow but it is too difficult for children. After that they made strange rainbow. When the rainbow maker saw that and came to help. They could make nice rainbow.

When I was a child, I wondered too. I wanted to go to the end of the rainbow. I have heard that you can fine the treasure at the end of the rainbow. I really wanted to go but I can't. I don't like science so I don't know why we can't find the end. However, If I can find it, I want to see good things.

I read this book last Friday. Nate the great is good detective. One day, when he and his dog,Sludge, were weeding at their garden. Oliver came and asked him. He wanted to look for his weed. That morning, he bought a weed from Rosamond. She is neighborhood. She is kittele strange girl. Nate the Greate doesn't like her. He didn't want look for his weed but he will.

He asked some questions to Oliver. Why and Where did you lost the weed?? He answed. When he boutht it, he went home. His weed looked sick so he wanted to make him healthy. He went to the library and borrow the book. He read the book. He had to 3 step. 1. Put the weed in dirt 2. Give the weed sun 3. Give the weed water. When he bring water from his house, the weed had gone. He asked another question. How looks does your weed? He answerd that it has yellow bud. Rosamond told him that the weed would grow into the sky.

He went to the Rosamand's house. He looked for every where and he noticed! He went to the library and found the weed. His weed in the book which he was borrowed. The day was windy so while he went back home to bring water, the book was closed by wind. He soloved the problem!

I think that he is always clever. He is good boy. Rosamond is funny girl. I like her cats because she has 4 black cats. She is strange but I want to talk with her.

”The Lady or the Tiger?”

One day, the king of strange country have people make stadium. The purpose of making stadium is to judge wrongdoers. When people did bad things, some people called him. The wrongdoers have to come to middle of stadium. He can choose the door. If he open the truth door, he can meet very beautiful girl and he can marry her. He will live with her forever. However, if he open wrong side door, he will see a tiger. He will die.

One day, the daughter of king went out. She met gardener. She was attracted to the man in him. He is cool and strong. Also he became to love her. They met again and again. They love each other. However, the king knew that and he took away from her and he had to go to the stadium. The stadium prepared the beautiful woman. She is daughter's friend. But she doesn't like her.

The daughter is very clever. She loves him. BUT・・・the story was finish. I don't know the end. However I think he died because she loves him and she doesn't hope to marry that woman.

I read " Big sniff". I like Nate the Great series! He got a big cace! His dog had gone somewhere. His dog is clever. One day, Nate went to dog shop with Slugle. He lined long long line. Slugle waited him. He went out shop, Slugle wasn't there. He was surprised! He try to find him. He asked his friend, he asked shopper. He walk and walk. He was sad because he couldn't thing good idea. He didn't want to eat pancake bacause he was sad. He walked around. He noticed that Slugle may try to find him too! He hit and run. He run to shop where he can eat pancake. When he can't get any good idea, he always wat pancake. Slugle knew that so he is waiting for him. They could meet again. It is very happy end.

I read "Goes Down in the Dumps " last week. Hero of the book is Nate and his dog, Sluge. One day, they took a walk and saw Romand and Romand's four cats. They were sitting on crate in front of her house. She had a crystal ball. She said that she can read people's future, please pay 2 cents. Nate and Sluge didn't want to contact with her but she said that you will get a job. He was interested in it. She gave case to him. She lost her money box at the time. In the morning, Romand and her friend, Claude made her shop for fortunetelling. When she went to garage, the money box which is empty lost! The white box with ROMAND. They tried to fined the box for Romand. Thy went to friend's house or mountain of garbage. Finally, they noticed that money box was still near Romand's create. They are very cute. I like the story of Nate the Grate. I will read another book someday.

I read Monster Mess. Hero of this story is Nate the Great and his dog, Sludge. One day , when he and his dog relaxed their room, they found a letter from his mother. The letter said that she wants to make monster cookies today but she lost the paper. He know that her mother always cook with recipe. When she hit up an idea, she always write recipe on paper. Now, she went out and look for the paper. They had never solved the case like this. They tried to look for the recipe inside. They wanted stay home because they don't meet strange friend. They went to kitchen. There are a lot of paper recipe. They thought that it looked easy to fined. However, they didn't fined. They went out to fined his mother! He met many friends and asked that where his mother is. He couldn't fined mother but he noticed where recipe is now! He went back home and fined the recipe. However, he scattered recipe papers so his mother slipped. He must clean the kitchen but thanks to his efforts, he could eat monster cookies.

I read Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. That story is littele difficult but I am interested the story. Hero of the story is Mr Utterson. One day, he walked with his friend, Enfield. He told a story about Mr. Hyde. Mr. Hyde is strange man. He attacked a girl and hit the girl. Enfield and the girl's father were angry. Hyde gave money which her father can't earn a year to the family. Also, Mr. Hyde has Dr. Jeklly's cheque. Mr. Utterson was interested in Mr. Hyde. He wanted to meet him but he couldn't. He visited Dr. Jeklly's house. Dr. Jeklly research sometinhg but he didn't tell about. Also he didn't talk about Mr. Hyde. Oneday, Mr. Hyde killed the man who is friend of Utterson. He wanted to arrest him and know about Hyde. He went to Jekll's house and he told Utterson that Hyde went to France.
After that Utterson met Hyde again. He wanted to meet Jekll but it can't. Hyde was died. Also Jekll was died too. He opened two letters. One is from his friend Enfiled , the other is from Jeklly. After rading, he noticed that Jekll and Hyde is same person.
This story was interesting but it is difficuklt to understand first reading.

I read " Tardy Tortoise ". The book was very cute story. Hero is a little boy and dog. He is detective! One day, he wake up and saw out of the window. He found a tortoise which is eating flowers. He like to watch flower so he get a tortoise. He thought that he wanted to fine tortoise's home! He is kind. He went out to fine clue. He visited the houses but he couldn't get nice clue. He went back home because he and his dog didn't eat break fast. His action is heartwarming. After eating, he went to hospital of animals but he couldn't get clue again. He thought of tortoise's weakness. He tried to look for a trail. Finally, he could fine home.

When I finished reading the story, the book continue. I opened the next page. The next page is memo of tortoise. He wrote about tortoise a lot of course how long tortoise live or what tortoise eat and so on. Also he write a recipe of tortoise cookies. When I saw this, I felt very happy. I want to read this series again.

I read " A picture to Remember ". This story was interesting for me. Heroine of the book is Cristina. She got a new job which is director of new museum. She rides a bike everyday, one day she went back home. She stopped the traffic right and saw next to her. Two men who have guns with tattoo of red flower were in the car. He noticed Cristina and aimed at her. She couldn't move. When he pull the trigger, a taxi hit her because traffic right turned green. She was carried by ambulance. She didn't die but she couldn't recall the accident. She became live and work. However the men tried to kill her. Sometimes, she involved the accident which is planed by the men but her friend, Daniel, helped her. She works with Philippe and she fell in love with him. Finally, Daniel and his friend's policemen arrested the men. Cristina could succeeded her job and got marry with Philippe. My heart fluttered with excitement.
