Go back to Japan

Today is last day in NZ for me. I was very sad and happy. I don' t know why I feel that. Last night, children gave me some letters. I cried that night. I really wanted to go back to Japan because I want to talk with my best friend. I want to meet my family. However, I had very good time in NZ. I don't want to leave here. This picture is last breakfast. I want to eat a lot but if I stay in dining room more longer, I will cry so I went to my room and I pretend to clean my room. At that time, Jane gave me a necklace. I was very happy. After that, I said goo-bye to children and Joney. I was very sad but I didn't cry. Jane drives bus stop for me. I talked with her. However, when I said good-bye to her, I cried. I really wanted to go back to Japan but I wanted stay more time. I gave her letter and I went back to Japan. In NZ, I had great time.

Zoo

Last Sunday for me in NZ, I went to zoo with Jane, Margot, Era and Joney. I was very happy to go there. The zoo is very huge. In Japan, the animal always in the cage but in NZ there is no cage for animal. All of the animal can walk around as they like. At first, I saw giraffes with Era. I took picture with her. Next, I saw an elephants. I took of picture Jane, Margot and Era. The picture is above in this post. I saw many animal. I was very fun. When I entered the room of penguin, there is heavy door and that sign. It is very cute sign. I also watched Kiwi. Kiwi is NZ's national birds. They are very cute. I want tp take picture but there is too dark to take pictures. I had very good time there.

Japanese?

This week is last week for me in NZ. That night, I went to Japanese bar with my host family and Jane's friend's family. The Japanese bar looked very interesting. The waiters are Chinese. I'm very sad. I want to meet Japanese. However, the chef appeared. At first, I was glad because he looked Japanese but he spoke English and found the man Chinese too. I was very sad. Jane told him that I am Japanese. He spoke to me in Japanese. He said that Good morning in Japanese. I was sad again. The dish is not delicious. He is funny men so his performance is big so it is dirty. Japanese do not like that!! I was very angry that day I miss Japan very much.

Grand father

The day I went to shopping with Jane's parents and Ella. The day is Sunday so I have no school. The day is also Margot's friend's birthday so she and Jane went to party for him. I and Ella have no plan so her parents came and went shopping with. Grand father is interesting old man. He is funny but his pronunciation is difficult for me to hear. However, grand mother is nice British English so I could talk and hear. I ate cute cookie. I told her about my grand father. He past so I can't go shopping with him. She said to me that today is your grand father too. I was very happy to hear that. After shopping, I went back home. Margot had already went back home. She looked very happy. Her friend was in there. He is so pretty. That night, Jane made dinner. The dish is turkey. It is first time to watch real turkey. It was delicious. I had very good time the day.

Horse riding

The day is horse rinding! The event was planed to last week, but the weather was bad. Today, the weather is so nice. We went forest to ride a horse. I had never ridden a horse. It is first time to ride. I was very happy. I could ride a horse but the horse looked very old and tired. We had been ride each horses in line for 30 minutes in forest. The sight is nice but sometimes it scared. Sometimes, my horse stopped because he is tired so I was very confused but the staff helped me. He is very kind. I had a very good time I want to ride again. After that I played athletic with friends. It is very very scaly. I don't want to play again. However, some students tried again. I didn't believe it. I don't want to play.

Cafe in NZ

I ate this chocolate cake. It was very delicious and so sweet! In New Zealand, I went to cafe in University. I was surprised at this nice cafe. There is a lot of menu. The cafe is very clean. There are a lot of people. I went there with Nozomi. First time, I drunk cappuccino. It was so nice. Nozomi drunk hot chocolate. I had never drunk hot chocolate in Japan but I had drunk it in NZ. I love hot chocolate. I talked with her long time. Second time, I ate chocolate cake. Nozomi ate cake. We had very good time.

Dangerous

August 19th
In the morning, it was sunny! We went to Muriwai Beach. We went there by bus. It took 40 minuets. Sometimes it was rainy but no one care about it at that time.... We took pictures of beach and walked around. The day is so windy but we were excited! After that, we had to go back the bus. However bus had gone over there. We had to walk a road which is near rip!!!! It is too dangerous for us to go. We scared about it. We could across the dangerous road. After that teacher gave us the hot chocolate. It was delicious. The day was most dangerous day.

In the morning, I went to shopping. It is first time to buy something in NZ. I was very happy. Nozomi and Ayako looked for clothes. I looked for souvenir but the shopping mall was small. I couldn't buy it. However, I found nice jacket. I brought only two jackets from Japan so I bought it. It was so cute. After shopping, Haruno and I took rest. I had time to do something. We were so hungry. We found Japanese restaurant. We bought sushi!! I was very happy to see and eat. It was expensive but I was satisfied with it. We were very happy.

After school, I walked and went back home. I opened the door, the girls were ruining. The girls??? My house have only 2 girls. Jane's friend's children are 3 and? Why? I couldn't understand. I couldn't count children. There were 7 children. Jane's another friend's came home with her children. I was very surprise but I was happy to meet them.

Muffins

August　15th

Today was so cold and strange weather. In Japan would sunny day! I want to go back home!

In the morning, I studied at school. My English teachers are Yvonne and Michel. They are kind and funny. I could learn about NZ culture.

In the afternoon, I went to the cafe. We cooked muffins. Jess told us how to make muffins. He told a recipe sloppy!! Unbelievable!!!We watched and made own muffins. I made these with Haruno. Our muffins were very good. It was delicious. After school. I went back home soon. I gave these muffins for Jane and 5 children. They looked happy so I was very happy.

At night, children went to their father's house. Jane went to restaurant with her friend. Jonny asked me to go karaoke with Jonny's family. I wanted to go but I had to study about my research. I couldn't go. I stayed home alone. Jane made dinner for me. It was delicious. While eating dinner, I was watching TV. However, I was sad because I was lonely. Then Scooter came back home!! I was happy! I watched TV with him.

After dinner, I took a bath. After bath, I open the door, Scooter was sitting in front of door. He was lonely too so he was waiting me. I was happy. I went to bed with him.

Museum

August 11th

In the after noon, I went to Auckland Museum. I saw Maori show first. They told us Maori culture and Maori words. They used traditional stick and played a game. I had a very good time to touch another culture. After the show, I took picture with Maori cool man. I was happy! I had short free time so I went to 2nd floor. 1st floor is Maori's traditional house and boats. 2nd is history in the world. We saw volcano's history and sea creature.

August 14 th

This afternoon, we went to Harbour cruise. We went near sky tower. We got a ship. It was very cold but we sit down seats which is outside! At first, I enjoyed cruising but I tired and wearied of cruising. We went down and took a rest. I drunk an orange juice. After that we went back to Unitec. I went home earlier than usual.

Lost my way!?

August 5th

I forgot to wrtite about this day. I went to Sky Tower. It is not important thing for me. The day I went to Subway with my friends. Subway is fast food shop. Kumamoto doesn't have it so I want to eat in Kumamoto! My lunch is not important too.

The day, I went back home at first time. I have perfect confidence to go back home alone easily because I have to walk straight! It is easy for me. I walked to home. While walking, I took many pictures. However, after 30 minutes, I couldn't go back home! I didn't have a phone and card. I was sad and I worried so I went back to school.

I found the library near school. I went there and asked a woman who works there. I told her that I lost my way and I don't have any idea to go home. She was very kind and she called my host mother. She relieved me so I begun to cry. She worried about me. She took me the road and told me that my mother would came here but if she wouldn't come, please come back to the library. However, the library is closed at 5. If the time past 5, I would in here and please knocked door. She helped me and very very kind!! I was very happy.

After that my host mother came and pick me up. I was very happy!!! I talked with her while driving. My house was close to the place where I went back to school. The 3 days, my mother drive to school so I didn't have idea the time to take to go to school from home. When I went back home, my host children worried about me. I could sleep well the night.

Next day, I went to the library and said thank you to her who helped me yesterday. I had good experience in NZ.

Origami

In NZ, I could see rainbow many times because it had been raining for half months. I think that I want to go to the end of the rainbow. Another picture is origami. My host family has two children. My host mother has a good friend. She has three children. She works so my mother take care of children. They stay at my house and play with me. Susie is oldest girl. She is 7 years old. I didn't talk much with her at first. However, one day when she stayed my house, I could have chance to talk with her. She doesn't like take a bath. She took off the bath and she have free time. I talked with her about origami. She enjoyed making origami. She is good at making origami rather than me! Another girl came and asked me to make origami. My host family's girl and friend's girl enjoy making and playing origami. I want to talk with them again.

Ice skating

August 10 th

In the morinig, I went to the park with Jane, Ella and Margot. Ella is 7 years old. Margot is 4 years old. I played with them at playground. I saw sheep. They were very cute. I could walk close to them.

In the after noon, I went to an ice skating. It was so exciting. I enjoyed skating but Ella was crying because she doesn't like skating and fallen down the ice floor. After we went home and went to bed early because we were very tired.

I learned new words today. Jane always these words to children. Don't yell! You have to tidy your room! Children love playing but they don't like cleaning. I also learned words at ice skating too. Sore is new word for me. Sore is painful.

By the way, my host family has a rabbit. She is very cute. Ella love rabbit than cat. In Japan we say rabbit but they call it bunny.

Aquarium

I went to Kelly Tartons in the morning. Kelly Tartons is small aquarium in NZ. There were a lot of fish. I saw many penguin. They were very cute. I bought some souvenir for my best friend. Yoko and Kaori. I bought paua shell necklace. They were very beautiful. I also bought it for me. I really wanted to buy stuffed doll of penguin. However, they were too expensive for me. Next time, I will buy staffed doll of sheep!!

After school, I talked about school with Jane. Today I studied new words. One is rubbish. Rubbish is things that you throw away because you no longer want or need them. Today is rubbish day so people have to take out the rubbish from their house. Most kiwi use this word but American English is garbage.

The other one is rubber. My host sister said to me, Do you have rubber? I couldn't understand. I looked over and found rubber eraser. I was interested in American English and British English.

Shopping

August 6th

I usually get up at 7. I eat breakfast which is made by Jane or Jony. They made rice and scrambled eggs. It is little different from Japanese one. Because rice is made in Thailand. This morning, I went to St Lukes shopping mall. I walked around. I bought a coat. Because my teacher told me, paper is expensive in NZ, it is value. If you care about using paper, you have to buy.

After shopping, Haruno and I were very hungry. We looked for delicious food! We found sushi! We bought and ate it. It was expensive but it was delicious. I miss Japanese food.

After school, Ella asked me about animals in Japan. She had to study about another country. She chose Japan. I told her about animal. In NZ, there are no snakes because kiwi can't fly. People swept away all snakes. I told her, there are snakes in Japan! I will talk with her again.

Sky Tower

August 5th

In the morning, I got on a bus and went to Sky Tower. We looked Auckland city in bus. There were many shops. We arrived Sky Tower. It is 328 m. We can bungee jumping there. However of course we didn't. One of my friend Nozomi, she doesn't like high building. She scared and screamed. I saw nice view. I could see nitec or Harbour Bridge. I took pictures with my friends. By way of parenthesis, Sky Tower is taller than Eiffel Tower and Sydney Tower. Elevator of Sly Tower can convey 225 passengers every 15 minites. The speed is 18 pkh. It takes about 40 minites to go up the top. We can see 360°.

In the evening, I took first class. I met 2 teachers. First is Yvonne. She told me calture of NZ. Second teacher is Michel. She is very cute. She told me new words of English.

At night, I ate dinner with Jane and Joney. We talked a lot. In NZ, people go to bed early! children to to bed more faster than 9. In Japan, I usually go to bed past 12. Unbeliebable! However, NZ is winter and my body tired used to so I'm sleeoy at 9.

Unitec

August 4th

I got up at 7. My mother drove me to Unitec. In the morning, we listened to orientation. We got ID cards so we can use computer. After that, we walked around. Unitec is huge. We had lunch. I ate potato chips. It was strong vinegar. but it was delicious! In the after noon, I took a test and class. It was little boring.

After school,mother picked me up and went to famouse volcano in NZ. We took pictures and walked around. Aso colcano's colour is black and there are many rocks. However, NZ volcano's color is green and there is glass! My host mother's name is Jane. She told me a story. When a man want to marry a woman, he lays rocks and makes words. For example, Marry me or I love you and so on. It is romantic. I walked three times with children. They were very active. It was good excercise for me. Jane told me and showed Aucland. This city is very buautiful. When I played with girls,I saw rainbow. After that we went back home, we ate dinner. I had a very good time.

Homestay

August 3rd

I wake up at ・・・ I don't know because I didn't know where I was at that time. I arrived at airport at 10. I brought to some Japanese snacks, miso soup and rice. My assignment is to study breakfast between Japan and NZ. I want to make Japanese breakfast for my host family. People who work at the airport on the gate of entering NZ asked me what I brought from Japan. I scared them but I could speak English well! I could enter NZ. I met Christina. She is teacher of Unitec. She is very kind and beautiful. We went to Unitec by bus. Unitec is huge university. We arrived 12.
At13, host families came and we went each house. I met my host family. They are mother and two daughters. They were very cute. I could understand mother's British English because when I was high school student, my teacher was British. However, I couldn't get children's English. They talked a lot and fast at time. I arrived house and ate chocolate cake which is made by my host mother. It was delicious. I took photos. My room was very cute! At 6, children's father came home and they went back father's house this week. Mother and father divorced so children will satay my house and father's house turn and turn about. At 7, mother's boy friend came home. We ate dinner with. He is strong and funny man. We talked a lot. At 8, mother's parents came home. Mother's mother said to me "Your English is good!" I was very happy.
Today was very busy day but I could meet many people and talked with. I will have a good time in NZ. I think.

August 2nd

At 4, my father and I got up. Haruno and my grand mother called me to get up! I ate onigiri because I can't eat it in NZ. We left my house at 5:30. My friend and member of my club came to send me off! They came and met me at 5:50!! They were very kind. I love them. Ayaka, she is older than I. She gave me mascot which is made by her. I was glad! I was very happy. I left my school at 6:10. We went to Fukuoka airport by bus. It took 2 hours. We met Ms. Mukai. We took a plane. We went to Singapore first. We left Japan at11. I said good-bye to Japan. I have never eaten meal of plane. I ate lunch. Bread was delicious. I listened music and played games. I arrived at Singapore. We had to stay there for 6 hours. My friends and I went to shopping. I bought only juice. My friend bought something. The Singapore airport was beautiful and huge! We had to walk long distance. We took plane again. I ate dinner. I ate potato. At night, I could sleep well but my neck was sore. It is good experience for me to live in air plane.

Eve

I had kept diary in New Zealand. I will write it by inches. This diary is the day before leaving Japan, August 1st.

I will leave Japan tomorrow. I have never been to abroad so I'm nervous. Today,I got up 10. I called Haruno to tell about baggage. My mother has been in hospital now. My father went to my grand mother's house to meet and talk with my brother's teacher. I'm lonely and I can't think what I should have to bring to NZ! Haruno told me what she put in her suitcase. She is very kind so she invited me to her house and showed them. At 12, I went to her house. I kooked her baggage and talked about NZ. I note the necessary. I said good-bye and went to shopping . I bought some clothes and snacks. After that I went to hospital to meet my mother. She was well and fine. I talked with her a lot. On July 26th, she operated. I left there at 5. I went back home and put in my suitcase. I have to make my suitcase's weight 20 kg! I adjust it. At night, my friends sent me many e-mails. They encourage me. I was very very happy. I love them. I don't want to leave Japan but I must leave tomorrow. I bring many pictures. At 9, my father came back home. We went to bed by 12. Because I have to get up at 4!
