Ice skating

August 10 th

In the morinig, I went to the park with Jane, Ella and Margot. Ella is 7 years old. Margot is 4 years old. I played with them at playground. I saw sheep. They were very cute. I could walk close to them.

In the after noon, I went to an ice skating. It was so exciting. I enjoyed skating but Ella was crying because she doesn't like skating and fallen down the ice floor. After we went home and went to bed early because we were very tired.

I learned new words today. Jane always these words to children. Don't yell! You have to tidy your room! Children love playing but they don't like cleaning. I also learned words at ice skating too. Sore is new word for me. Sore is painful.

By the way, my host family has a rabbit. She is very cute. Ella love rabbit than cat. In Japan we say rabbit but they call it bunny.

Aquarium

I went to Kelly Tartons in the morning. Kelly Tartons is small aquarium in NZ. There were a lot of fish. I saw many penguin. They were very cute. I bought some souvenir for my best friend. Yoko and Kaori. I bought paua shell necklace. They were very beautiful. I also bought it for me. I really wanted to buy stuffed doll of penguin. However, they were too expensive for me. Next time, I will buy staffed doll of sheep!!

After school, I talked about school with Jane. Today I studied new words. One is rubbish. Rubbish is things that you throw away because you no longer want or need them. Today is rubbish day so people have to take out the rubbish from their house. Most kiwi use this word but American English is garbage.

The other one is rubber. My host sister said to me, Do you have rubber? I couldn't understand. I looked over and found rubber eraser. I was interested in American English and British English.

-Okonomiyaki
When I was a child, I could help my mother to cook okonomiyaki for dinner. I was not good at cooking. I think I am too now. I could cook it by myself. I like it very much. When I go to okonomiyaki restaurant, I always shape it into a cat. My friend always takes photos.

-Pear
I like fruits very much. Especially I love pears. When the fall come, I always buy pears. I can eat pear as meal. Full of pears are enough for me to eat. I don't want anything. This year, I had eaten many pears. My refrigerator has a pear. I want to eat it tomorrow.

-Powder green tea
I like powder green tea. I like candy or juice of green tea. When I was a junior high school student, I went to Kyoto as school excursion. I drunk cola with green tea ice. It was delicious. I want to eat it again but Whenever I tell the friends that the juice was delicious, they can't believe me. I want to drink again with my friend.

I watched School of Rock last Sunday with my sister and mother. However, one of my classmates didn't see this move. I recommend to see it. The students are very cute and cool. I like the boy who plays guitar. He is good artists. The character of students are variable. They really want to play Rock well. Book Review 2-4 Owl Express

I read this book last week. Hero of this book is of course, Nate the Great. This time, he solve the case which is asked by his cousin, Olivia. She is good detective too. One day, she asked Nate to guard her owl, Hoot, from her neighborhood who hate her pet. Her neighborhood hate her and sent a letter which is said that It will be a happy day when Hoot the owl flies away. All of neighborhood know that Hoot will take on the train today. He tried not to be stolen. He took on the train in the morning with Sludge and Hoot. Hoot is in the cage which is covered with cloth because she wants to sleep in the dark cage. Nate cared and examine the suspect. He found the suspect. He is musician. When Nate asked him, do you like Hoot? He said that he likes it. However, he hate owl and he wrote a letter. He is a musician. He is good at thinking rhyme. The letter said that happy day and flies away. It is rhyme! Olivia was happy and she bought some pancake and born for them.

Festival Volunteer

Last Saturday I was very busy. At 9:30 am, I have to attend the meeting of culb at school. We have to prepare for the school festival. At noon I went to old woman's house and talked with her. At 5 pm, I went to the Kumamoto castle! I went there to do volunteer. Do you know the Yumeakari festival? Women hold this festival at Takahashi park every year. Many dancer and player play thier dance or sing songs.

First, I greet the staff and I fire candles which in the bamboo around of the park. After getting dark, they were very beautiful. My main job is to turn over the content of the live.

After the event, all of the paticipate turn off the loght. While we turn the light, we think about dream. It is romantic isn't it!?
